VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br /> April 16, 1968 <br /> 1. The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman <br /> Howitz at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday April 16, 1968. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call <br /> Mesenbring, Kronk, Elam, Miedtke, Howitz, Englund, Harty <br /> 3. a. Correction in the minutes of March 19, 1968, page one, item 5a, to <br /> read 18 sq. ft. and not 250 sq. ft. <br /> The minutes of the meeting of March 19, 1968 were approved as corrected. <br /> b. The minutes of the meeting of April 2, 1968, were approved as. submitted. <br /> 4. Ordinance Variations <br /> /a. Upon motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the <br /> Council that the request of Joe Malat to install a 5x8 lighted Dairy Queen <br /> logo on the rear of the building be approved with a 22 sq. ft. variance in <br /> • sign area. <br /> \M/otion Carried. <br /> x b. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Elam, to table the request of <br /> the Sussel Company to add a porch at 3100 Rankin Road. The Board requests <br /> a letter from the neighbor to the west as having no objection to this <br /> addition. A 7 ft. side yard variance is needed for this addition. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> c. Upon motion by Englund, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the <br /> Council that a rear yard variance be approved to allow construction up <br /> to the 10 ft. easement at the rear of 3 901 Fordham Drive (Lot 1, Block 1, <br /> Villeila Addition). <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> 5. Public Hearings - none <br /> 6. Zoning Variation <br /> Gordon Hedlund presented a new proposal for townhouses on Silver Lake <br /> Road north of 39th Avenue with single family homes on Pb nrod Lane to the <br /> east. Mrs. Chester Nelson appeared to voice her disapproval of the town- <br /> house development. Upon motion by Harty, seconded by Englund, to recommend <br /> to the Council that a public hearing be held to consider a change in <br /> zoning of Lots 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, Block 6, hounds View Acres, 2nd <br /> Addition. The Board recommends that if a public hearing is held that all <br /> of the people in the third precinct be notified. <br /> 3 <br />
