Upon motion by Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend to the <br /> Council that the preliminary plan as presented by Kenneth Benson for construct- <br /> ion on the corner of Anthony Lane and 29th Avenue N.E. be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> 9. Miscellaneous <br /> a. Upon motion by Meidtke, seconded by Elam, to recommend Council approval <br /> to the planting plan by Cedar Properties for a 33 unit apartment on Highcrest <br /> Road. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> b. Upon motion by Englund, seconded by Meidtke, to recommend to the <br /> Council that the preliminary Walbon Plat be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> c. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Elam, to recommend Council approval <br /> of the proposed Lobo Addition in Mounds View Acres Second Addition, Lot 8 <br /> and part of Lot 7, Block 5. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> • d. Upon motion by Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend to the <br /> Council that the request to change the Conoco sign at 37th and Silver Lake <br /> Road to read Mileage be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> e. The Planning Board took no action on the screening of garbage cans <br /> as they felt there was no need for this. <br /> The Planning Board recommends that the Council 'reconsider the Fence Ordinance. <br /> f. Upon motion by Englund, seconded by Kronk, to recommend Council approv- <br /> al to divide the East 4 ft. of Lot 16 and add to Lot 15, Block 4, Wilshire Park <br /> 4th Addition. Lot 15 will be 91 ft. wide and Lot 16 will be 83 ft. wide. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> g. Upon motion by Englund, seconded by Elam to recommend to the Council <br /> that a 4x8 double face sign be approved for the Pop Shop at 2550 Kenzie <br /> Terrace. The sign to be 4 ft. above grade and no more than 18 ft. from front <br /> of building. The permit for sign to run for 6 months. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> h. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Kronk, to recommend Council <br /> approval for LeRoy Signs, Inc. to place a 161x2 ' sign 'Union" replacing <br /> • exisiting "Pure' letters on buiding at 2700 Kenzie Terrace. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
