VILL^.GE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br /> • August 20, 1968 <br /> 1 . The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman <br /> Howitz at 7035 P. M. on Tuesday, August 20, 1968. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll calls <br /> Mesenbring, Kronk, Miedtke, Howitz, Harty. <br /> Absents Englund <br /> 3. The minutes of the meeting of July 16, 1968, and the special meetings of <br /> July 30, and August 6, 1968, were approved as submitted. <br /> 4. Public Hearings - None. <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations. <br /> a. The request of Mr. A. J. Martin for a 10 ft. front yard variance and <br /> a 2 ft. side yard variance to build a 2 car garage at 3421 Edwards Street N. E. <br /> was discussed. The Board was of the opinion that this would set the garage <br /> too far forward to line up with the other houses in the block. Upon motion <br /> by Miedtke, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the request <br /> be denied. <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> b. The request of Mr. Fred Huebner to divide Lot 8 and 9, Block 3, Clark <br /> and Kings Garden Tract (3500 Edwards Street N. E. ) was discussed. Upon motion <br /> by Kronk,. seconded by Mesenbring, that after replating will recommend to the <br /> Council that approval be given to divide this property with a 15 ft. variance <br /> in width on the corner lot. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> c. The request of John Nash at 3548 Harding Street N. E. to build a 2 <br /> car garage at the rear of his house requiring a 7 ft. side yard variance was <br /> discussed. Upon motion by Harty, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the <br /> Council that the 7 ft. side yard variance be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 6. The request by Keith Harstad to rezone Lot 3 and the N 2 of Lot 4, Block <br /> 11, Mounds View Acres 2nd Addition from light industrial to multiple dwelling <br /> was discussed. Upon motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Miedtke, to recommend <br /> to the Council that the request be denied. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7. Old Business - None. <br /> 8. Building Permits - None. <br />
