-2- <br /> c) <br /> 2-c) Mr. George Butler appeared to request that the zoning of Lot 1 , Block 6, <br /> Mounds View Acres, Second Addition be changed from residential to multiple dwelling. <br /> Upon motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Miedtke to recommend to the Council that <br /> the request be denied. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7. Building Permits. <br /> A verbal request was made by Basic Industries to enlarge their building with <br /> a two story addition as specified in their submitted plans. Mr. Benson representing <br /> Basic Industries indicated that they had approximately 45 employees. The hoard <br /> felt that adequate parking was available. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by <br /> Kronk to recommend approval provided that an acceptable landscaping plan be pre- <br /> sented at the Council meeting. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 8. Miscellaneous. <br /> a) Don Gearhart appeared to obtain preliminary approval to modify the division <br /> of three lots at 39th and Shamrock. Upon motion by Englund, seconded by Harty to <br /> recommend approval when it is replatted into lots measuring in width approximately <br /> 78, 99, and 90 feet. <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> b) A copy of Huebners proposed plat was submitted for approval . Upon motion <br /> by Kronk, seconded by Harty to recommend to the Council that the proposed plat be <br /> approved provided that the preliminary plat meet all provisions of the Platting <br /> ordinance. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> c) Copies of the final plat for Happy's Industrial was submitted for approv- <br /> al . Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Harty to recommend approval to the Council <br /> provided that the area of each lot in square feet appears on one copy of the final <br /> plat for filing by the Village Clerk. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> d) The Sign Ordinance was discussed. No action was recommended. <br /> 9. The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 p.m. <br /> Louis R. Howitz <br /> Acting Secretary <br />
