r • VILLAGE OF ST, ANTHONY PLANNING BOARD MEETING February 18, 1969 1. The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman Howitz at 7:30 P. M. on Tuesday, February 18, 1969. 2. The following were present at roll call : Mesenbring, Kronk, Miedtke, Howitz, Harty, Englund. 3. The minutes of the January 21, 1969 meeting and the special meeting of February 4, 1969 were approved as submitted. 4. Public Hearings a. The Chairman announced that this was the time and place to hold a public hearing requested by the Village Council to rezone the E. 90 78/100 ft. of S. 125 ft. of Lot 5, Block 8, Mounds View Acres, Second Addition from Light Industrial to Commercial. After discussion and motion by Kronk, seconded by Miedtke, to recommend to the Council that the rezoning to Commercial be approved subject to review of complete plans for the building and parking area. Motion carried. • b. The Chairman announced that this was the time and place to hold a public hearing requested by the Village Council to rezone the N. 220 ft. of the West 85 ft. of the East 853 6/10 ft. of N. E. k Ex. Rd. from R-1 to R-2. After discussion and motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Harty, to recommend to the Council that the request for rezoning from R-1 to R-2 be approved. Voting on the motion: Aye: Mesenbring, Harty, Englund May: Kronk, Miedtke Motion carried. 5. Ordinance Variations / A sign request for the Pharmacy located in the Apache Medical Building was 'discussed. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the sign as proposed be denied. Motion carried. 6. Zoning Variations - None 7. Old Business - None • S. Building Permits Plans for a Goodyear Service Store to be located at 38th and Stinson Blvd. were discussed. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the Goodyear plan be approved with the following changes. . 1 L
