' PLANNdING BOARD MEETING <br /> March 18, 1969 <br /> 1 . The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman <br /> Howitz at 7:30 P. M. on Tuesday, March 18, 1969. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Mesenbring, Kronk, Howitz, Harty, <br /> Englund, Sartor. <br /> Absent: Miedtke. <br /> 3. The minutes of the February 18, 1969 meeting and the special meeting of <br /> March 4, 1969 were approved as submitted. <br /> 4. The question was raised concerning lots zoned R-2 in Harstad addition. <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations <br /> a. A proposal to divide American Monarch property north of Standard station <br /> on 37th and Silver Lake Road for expansion to the Standard station was f0scussed. <br /> Motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the <br /> request be denied. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 6. Mr. Kaplan, representing Vadnais Construction Company, presented a proposal <br /> for a 30 unit apartment and rezoning from light industrial to multiple dwelling <br /> • on Old Highway 8 North of Medtronic. Motion by Kronk, seconded by Englund, to <br /> recommend to the Council that no further building or rezoning be considered for <br /> this tot. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye : Mesenbring, Kronk, Howitz, Englund, Sartor. <br /> Nay: Harty. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7. Buetow Development Group presented plans for an office and warehouse building <br /> on Lot 1 , Block 2, St. Anthony Office Park. Motion by Kronk, seconded by Sartor, <br /> to recommend to the Council that plans be approved as presented subject to land- <br /> scaping plans being approved by Kronk. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 8. Paul Johnson requested division of North 84 ft. of Lot 7, Block 5, Mounds <br /> View Acres, Second Addition into two lots, 84 ft. x 148 ft. Motion by Harty, <br /> seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend to the Council that division be approved <br /> subject to opinion of Village attorney on replatting requirements. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 9. Mr. Wakiriak presented a proposed plat of Hedlund and Wakiriak addition. <br /> Motion by Harty, seconded by Sartor, to recommend to the Council that approval of <br /> the plat be granted provided tht requirements of the platting ordinance are met. <br />
