VI LLAGE OF ST, ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br /> May 20, 1969 <br /> 1. The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman Pro- <br /> Tem Englund at 7:45 P.M. on Tuesday, May 20, 1969. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Mesenbring, Kronk, Englund. <br /> Absent: Miedtke, Howitz, Harty, Sartor. <br /> 3. Minutes of April 15, 1969 meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> 4. Ordinance Variations <br /> /a The request by Mr. A. J. Martin for a 2 ft. side yard variance to allow <br /> him to attach a garage and porch to his home was discussed. Motion by <br /> Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend to the Council that the <br /> request be approved. <br /> potion carried. <br /> b. The request by Mr. C. B. Christiansen to divide Lot 6, Block 5, Mounds <br /> View Acres Second Addition into four lots with the addition of part of <br /> Lot 5, and part of Lot 7 was discussed. Motion by Mesenbring, seconded <br /> by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the division be approved after <br /> • replatting and three variances be given as follows : <br /> 1 . 754 sq. ft. area variance on 62 ft. lot. <br /> 2. 13 ft. variance in width on 62 ft. lot. <br /> 3. 4 ft. variance in width on 71 ft. lot. <br /> Mogi-on carried. <br /> c. Mr. Orvel K. Johnson requests approval to add a 2 car garage to his present <br /> 1 car garage with a 6 ft. 8 in. side yard variance. Motion by Mesenbring, <br /> seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the variance be approved <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 5. Public Hearings <br /> a. The Chairman announced that this was the time and place to hold a public <br /> hearing requested by the Village Council to rezone the N. W. corner of <br /> Silver Lake Road and 37th Avenue N. E. from Light Industrial to Commercial. <br /> No one appeared in opposition to the rezoning so the hearing was declared <br /> closed at 8:10 P.M. Motion by Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend <br /> to the Council that the rezoning be approved. <br /> 7stephen <br /> n carried. <br /> J. Davis, representing Minneapolis Scientific Controls Corporation, <br /> presented the proposed plat of Apache Terrace. Motion by Mesenbring, <br /> seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the preliminary plat <br /> be approved. <br /> ----MQtion carried. <br />
