The Chairman announced that this was the time and place to hold a public
hearing by request of the Village Council as to a Town House development
on property fronting on Silver Lake Road, from Silver Lane to the apart-
ment property South of 39th Avenue N. E. Mr. Gordon Hedlund presented
a proposal to build 3 apartment buildings with a total of 105 units.
After hearing objections from those that wanted to be heard the hearing
was declared closed at 9:10 P.M. The Planning Board took no action
because the hearing was for a Town House development and not apartment
buildings.
6. Zoning Variations - None.
7. Old Business - None.
8. Building Permits
I/ Donald Hickerson presented plans for a home at 3216 Roosevelt St. N. E. . The
shape of the lot will require a 3 ft. variance on the N. W. corner. Motion
by Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend to the Council that the request
• be approved.
Motion carried.
9. The proposal for closing off Coolidge Street and 27th Avenue N. E. at Kenzie
Terrace was discussed by the Board. No action was taken at this time because
the Board felt that more members should be present for this discussion.
The consensus of the Board was that no plans had been presented to warrant
a change in zoning.
10. Motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Kronk, to adjourn.
Motion carried.
Harry Lekson
Secretary
•
I
