VILLAGE OF ST, ANTHONY <br /> • PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br /> June 17, 1969 <br /> 1. The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman <br /> Howitz at 7:35 on Tuesday, June 17, 1969. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Mesenbring, Kronk, Miedtke, Howitz, <br /> Sartor, Harty. <br /> Absent: Englund <br /> 3. Minutes of May 20, 1969 meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> 4. Public Hearings - None. <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations <br /> / Plans for a proposed house at 3612 Edwards Street N.E. were discussed with <br /> "the builder Al Villella. The usual 30 ft. setback is shown on the survey but <br /> this will locate the house 7.5 feet ahead of the house to the south. Several <br /> other homes in the block are setback 33 to 37.5 ft. Motion by Miedtke, seconded <br /> by Kronk, that a 5 ft. 6 in. variance for the garage be recommended for approval <br /> by the council. <br /> • Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Mesenbring, Kronk, Miedtke, Howitz, Sartor. <br /> Nay: Harty <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 6'.- 'Mr. Swen H. Anderson of the Anderson Agency, Inc. discussed with the board <br /> the possible use of a dwelling at 2542 Kenzie Terrace N.E. for office purposes. <br /> Motion by Miedtke, seconded by Harty, to recommend to the Council that the re- <br /> quest be denied. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7. Old Business- None. <br /> 8. Building Permits-None <br /> 9. a. Mr. Bill Kelly presented parking plans for the St. Anthony Shopping <br /> Center with the placement of bumper blocks to control traffic in the <br /> center. Motion by Harty, seconded by Sartor, to recommend to the <br /> Council that the parking plan be approved. <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> The closing off of Coolidge Street behind Foodtown was discussed at <br /> length with Mr. Kelly. Motion by Miedtke, seconded by Kronk, to re- <br /> affirm the boards previous position to the Council that Coolidge Street <br /> between Kenzie Terrace and Sunset Avenue be vacated.
