ANTHONY <br /> PLANNINC J30ARD i iIPdUTES <br /> December 1-9, 1.97^ <br /> • Meeting was called to order by Chairman Orville Brat'-arid at 7:30 P.ii. <br /> Present at roll call: Orville Bratland, Dick letourneau, Thomas Ondrey, <br /> Richard Carlson. <br /> Also present: Harry Lekson <br /> lotion by Ondrey, seconded by Bratland to approve minutes of October Planning <br /> Board meetin-. <br /> wation carried. <br /> Chairman called Public Hearing for Conditional Use Permit for Heritage-Rembrandt <br /> to order. <br /> i4otion by Carlson, seconded by Letourneau to recess this public hearing for one <br /> half hour in order to allow more time for residents to arrive. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Gary Gudim and Shaun McEachern appeared before the Planning Board to request <br /> a free standing sign for their boc?y shop (G & G Auto Body) on Kenzie Terrace. <br /> Mr. Orville Bratland explained that it would require a public hearing for a <br /> • variance and that it woul-d have to be a unique hardship for their business to <br /> qualify 'i r the variance. It was suggested G & G split the sign area a'-lowed <br /> with thF other tenant in -i,he building "Duddy' s for Tires". <br /> 7:45 P.M. Grace McGinn and Donald Kronk arrived. <br /> Motion by Ondrey, seconded by Carlson to recommend the Council hold a public <br /> hearing for a variance allowing a projecting sign in addition to the signs <br /> which are presently on the building in question, but the entire surface of the <br /> signs are not to exceed the allowable size as outlined in the sign ordinance. <br /> iiotion carried. <br /> i.icGinn abstaining. <br /> 7:55 P.:-i, vir. Parrill arrived. <br /> 8:10 P.i.,. Pu7blic Hearing for consideration of a Conditional Use Permit for <br /> / Rembrandt-Heritage Corporation for a retirement home building to be located on <br /> Lots 13-163- Block 6, Mounds View Acres, 2nd Addition was convened. <br /> Mr. Neil Woodington of Rembrandt went over the proposed plans using drawings <br /> to show specific ideas, which include a five story building on four lots with <br /> four singly family residence homes placed as a buffer between the building and <br /> the present homes on Penrod. <br /> The second proposal was for a five story building on three lots with no <br /> 10 residence lots on Penrod, but a green space of approximately 6,000 sq. ft. as <br /> a buffer strip between building and homes cn Penrod. <br /> I <br />
