VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> NOVEMBER 20, 1973 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Parrill at 7:55 P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call: McGinn, LeTourneau, Parrill and Johnson. <br /> Absent: Kronk, Carlson and Ondrey <br /> Also present: Harry Lekson, Jim Fornell <br /> The following amendments were made to the Planning Board Minutes of October 16th: <br /> Page 1, para. 2: Cash Register Sales proposed building is 44,275 sq. ft. <br /> Page 2, para. 2: Sign variance for Mirror Lake Manor is 2 sq. ft. <br /> Motion by Mrs. McGinn and seconded by Mr. Johnson to approve the minutes as <br /> amended. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> • Pub is Hearing on Hertog Florist request opened at 7: 56 P.M. <br /> Three neighbors of Hertog Floral & Garden Center, 2600 33rd Avenue N.E. , indicated <br /> an interest in the shape and structure of the 4 plastic greenhouses for which <br /> Mr. John Hertog was requesting a non-conforming variance. Mr. Hertog presented <br /> the plans and the brochures featuring the mobile structures and also assured <br /> them that an 8 ft. redwood fence would afford them a visual screen of the buildings. <br /> The neighbors, Mr. & Mrs. John Kosik, 3212 Belden Drive and Mr. R.C. Sopcinski, <br /> 2524 St. Anthony Road voiced no objections to the proposal. <br /> Motion by Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Letourneau to recommend approval to the <br /> Council of the removal of the four existing greenhouse structures from the <br /> property of Hertog Floral & Garden Center and their replacement with plastic <br /> structures as presented by Mr. Hertog as well as the construction of an 8 ft. <br /> redwood fence as a continuation of the existing fence which would provide a <br /> visual screen between the new structures and Edwards St. N.F. <br /> Mot ' carried. <br /> Public Hearing closed at 8:15 P.M. <br /> Mr. & Mrs. Harold Hinkel, 3824 Foss Road requested a replat of 15,929 sq. ft. of <br /> Lots 1 and 2 of Mounds View Acres 2nd Addition so that portion of the 1-3/4 acres <br /> they own can be sold to Mr. Chuck Donatelle, 3959 Reservoir Blvd. and Mr. <br /> Michael Donatelle, 3522 Pierce Street, who propose to build a machine shop on the <br /> land. Mr. Henkel explained that this lot split was not the same as that to which <br /> the Council had given approval in June. <br />
