• -2-
Messrs. Donatelle showed the Board a rough drawing of the one story, 4,000 sq. ft.
building they proposed to construct to house the machine shop they have been
operating in a garage for the last six years. They stated that their shop
primarily produces plastic parts and tools to produce plastic parts. Mr. Johnson
expressed a concern for the type of businesses that would be built on the remain-
der of the Henkel land and Mrs. McGinn expressed an interest in their landscaping
plans. Although the potential buyers of the land stated they would like to dig
the footings before winter, Mr. Parrill told them that the Board could not
recommend approval for a building permit on the drawings they had presented but
would indicate to the Council that the Board members were in favor of the concept
of the machine shop proposed to be built on the Henkel property.
Motion by Mrs. McGinn, seconded by Mr. Johnson to recommend for approval the re-
,platting of Lots 1- and 2 of the Moundsview Addition subject to an authorized
survey of the property.
Motion„curried.
Mr. Wm. D. Lucking requested permission to build a 500 sq. ft. addition to the
` rear of his machine shop at 3920 Foss Road. The addition which would be used for
storage space for steel would have the same exterior finish as the present build-
ing. He pointed out the present landscaping around his shop and stated that he
did his own trucking. Mr. Lekson avised that the Fire Department had foreseen
' no problems with the proposal.
Motion by Mr. LeTourneau and seconded by Mrs. McGinn to recommend for approval
the 500 sq. ft. addition, as presented, to be built on the Lucking Machine Shop
subject to its meeting all building codes and ordinances.
`,Motion carried.
Jim Fornell presented the first few sections of zoning ordinance revisions which
he had prepared for the Board's comments and approval. A discussion followed on
the concept of the job to be done and the time required to complete the project.
It was the concensus of the members present that there would have to be an extra
work session meeting of the Board each month, starting in January, to complete
the zoning revisions before June.
Motion by Mr. LeTourneau, seconded by Mr. Johnson to recommend that the Planning
Board meet once a month in addition to a regular meeting for a work session with
the dates for such additional meetings to be set at the January meeting and to
direct Mr. Lekson to add the item to the agenda for the first Board meeting in
January.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. LeTourneau to adjourn at 10:50 P.M.
asMotion carried.
Helen Crowe, Secy.
