a <br /> _3_ <br /> Voting on the inction: <br /> • Aye: Rymarchick, Johnson, Marks, Cowan, Hiebel and Bowerman <br /> Nay: Letourneau <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Marks to recommend that the Council deny <br /> the Twin City Federal request, as stated, for a variance to the sign ordinance <br /> because the sign would be a direct violation of the existing ordinance and there <br /> had been no evidence given to warrant granting the variation on a hardship basis. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Bowerman will present the recommendations to the Council on February 25,1975• <br /> Motion by Mr. Marks, seconded by Mr. Hiebel to adjourn the meeting at 9:37 PM. <br /> for a work session at which the Board might consider Mr. Fornell's recommendations <br /> regarding the allowance of monumental signs under the City sign ordinance. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Planning Board discussed the proposed change in the sign ordinance but felt <br /> that any change in that ordinance should not be enacted until the proposed <br /> zoning ordinance is reviewed by the City Council as any change in the sign <br /> ordinance must be compatible with the zoning ordinance. <br /> • Helen Crowe, Secy. <br /> I <br />
