+ _ v -3- � <br /> The motion was defeated unanimously and the following made instead: <br /> Motion by Mr. Bjorklund and seconded by Mr. Bowerman to request <br /> further staff study of parking requirements for sit down restaur- <br /> ants through the restaurant industry. <br /> Motion carried unanimously . i <br /> The meeting was recessed from 8 :45 p.m. to 8 : 55 p.m. when Mr. Fornell <br /> announced the joint work session, July 23, of the Council , Planning <br /> Board, and District #282 , which will include a tour of the Park View <br /> building to consider its continued use for city hall facilities and , <br /> time permitting, a possible tour of the old city hall . <br /> Draft copies of the Comprehensive Plan and Map, prepared by B .R.W. , <br /> Inc . , were distributed and the first of two work sessions tentatively <br /> set for 7 p.m. , July 31 , for an overview of the entire plan by the <br /> developer and a discussion which will be limited to the first two <br /> segments of the Plan. Mr . Fornell told the Board the Metropolitan <br /> Wastewater Control Commission had indicated to him the comprehensive <br /> sewer plan, which had been developed in 1976 , could be updated and <br /> submitted in conjunction with the Comprehensive Plan. Staff agreed <br /> to notify all Board members of the work session and publicity for <br /> the Plan will be sought through the media for informing the residents <br /> well in advance of the hearings . <br /> • Ron Berg' s July 9 assessment of the Minneapolis Comprehensive Plan <br /> and its possible efect on St. Anthony will be placed again on the <br /> agenda of the next Board meeting, thereby providing more time to <br /> digest and formulate a response to Minneapolis. <br /> Motion by Mr. Sopcinski and seconded by Mr. Bjorklund to adjourn <br /> the meeting at 9 : 15 p.m. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Helen Crowe <br /> pjr <br /> • <br />
