Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> May 20, 2003 <br /> Page 4 <br /> and expand the public works facilities. She indicated the fire station preliminary plans would be <br /> 2 before the Commission in a conceptual basis in June. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 Ms. Hall added that the Council also agreed to close the Stonehouse with preliminary plans for <br /> 5 that site before the Commission in June. <br /> 6 She stated LaNel would be before the Commission in July. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Commissioner Tillman asked if the joint meeting was open to the public. Ms. Hall stated this <br /> 9 would be open to the public, as are all public meetings. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Ms. Hall reviewed the Northwest Quadrant efforts that have taken place and stated a TIF review <br /> 12 would take place in June with the Commission to potentially review the preliminary PUD in <br /> 13 August. Ms. Hall noted there would be a joint Council/Planning Commission meeting on June 3, <br /> 14 2003 at 6:30 p.m. and encouraged all to attend. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Acting Chair Stille questioned what defined the TIF district. Ms. Hall stated this will be defined <br /> 18 in the TIF plans and will be discussed at the June 3, 2003 joint meeting with Council. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 X. ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br /> Commissioner Hanson noted there were two new businesses within Apache Plaza called Village <br /> 16 Blend and Elray Bakery. He stated both were doing well and invited the Commissioner's to visit <br /> 23 these new establishments. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Commissioner Stromgren noted he attended the workshop sponsored by GTS titled, "Beyond the <br /> 26 Basics"and recommended all Commissioners attend. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 XI.
