• The new building will still need a variance from the setback; however, the new <br /> building encroaches far less than the original building. There is only one place <br /> where the building was kept 5 feet from the property line. <br /> Overall, we feel this plan allows for a better, more integrated and less congested center. <br /> In the original approval, there was a variance granted for-parking in the restaurant of <br /> approximately 40 stalls.' Using the same parking rations, that variance would all be <br /> eliminated. <br /> Additionally, with the smaller restaurant on the site and given the tenants in place, the- <br /> site will,be better able to park at all times of the day. <br /> We have placed the drive-thru on.the east side of the new building to limit or eliminate <br /> noise from the ordering system to spill into the neighboring residences.
