I took the opportunity of writing this letter to
acknowledge receipt of the aforementioned payment and variance request application.
By Minnesota statute, the City is required to take action on zoning and land use planning
applications within 60 days of acceptance of the application.
Since this petition requires that the City hold a public hearing, the Statutes also require
that we publish a public notice of public hearing for two weeks prior to the date of the
regularly scheduled meeting. Since this petition requires that the City hold a public
hearing, the Statutes also require that we publish a public notice of the public hearing for
two weeks. That notice for your petition will be submitted to the City's legal newspaper
for publication the week of July 25th-
The public hearings are held by the Planning Commission at their regularly scheduled
monthly meetings.
