Planning Commission Meeting Minutes <br /> September 19, 2006 <br /> Page 6 <br /> 1 B. Proposed Manufactured Home Park Closing Ordinance <br /> 2 <br /> 3 Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes reported she had a petition from the Lowry Grove <br /> 4 Association requesting if Lowery Grove Park ever closed the residents would have protection on <br /> 5 the value of their property. She mentioned Staff is working on the rights and protection afforded <br /> 6 the residents under State statutes. She reported public hearing is scheduled for October 10, 2006. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Commissioner Jensen asked if the language would mirror State statues or would it be different. <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes replied she could not answer specifically,however, in the <br /> 11 past should the statute change,the ordinance would change as well. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Commissioner Jensen questioned what the purpose of doing an ordinance is if the statue is in <br /> 14 place. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes replied the statute outlines the minimums but the ordinance <br /> 17 addresses specifics. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 X. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br /> 20 None <br /> 21 <br /> 22 XI. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes reminded Commissioners up for reappointment to submit a <br /> 25 letter of interest to City Manager Mornson by November 17, 2006. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Commissioner Galyon asked where security cameras were monitored. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes replied the camera is on 24/7 and monitored at City Hall <br /> 30 and at theP olice station. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 XII.
