Planning Commission Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> June 17, 2008 <br /> Page 3 <br /> 1 Upon approval of the conditional use permit they would consider purchasing, rather than <br /> 2 continuing to rent. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 Commissioner Crone inquired about the maximum occupancy number for the Assembly <br /> 5 building. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Mr. Chu replied he is not certain of the actual number. However, they have been working with a <br /> 8 professional consultant and the requirements fit with the square footage of the building. He noted <br /> 9 that approval is subject to the Fire Marshal's recommendation. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Chair Stromgren closed the public hearing at 7:19 p.m. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 Commissioner Jensen noted that the application references the condo number and the conditional <br /> 14 use permit would run with this particular condo number until the time that it would expire for <br /> 15 lack of use. Staff would have latitude on whether to amend the conditional use permit or add an <br /> 16 additional address for any future requests on additional space. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes indicated future action would depend on what the owners <br /> 19 or occupants of the space ultimately decide to do. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Motion by Commissioner Jensen, second by Commissioner Goodwin, to recommend that the <br /> 22 City Council approve the conditional use permit request for Condo No. 0535, Northgate Office, <br /> 23 2626 Highway No. 88, #110, St. Anthony, MN 55418. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Commissioner Jensen pointed out that the conditional use permit is consistent with the <br /> 26 parameters of the zoning code. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Chair Stromgren offered a friendly amendment to include the condition that the conditional use <br /> 29 permit is subject to approval and certification of the occupancy permit by the Fire Marshal and <br /> 30 Building Official. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Motion adopted unanimously. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Chair Stromgren indicated the conditional use permit will be included on the agenda of the July <br /> 35 22, 2008 City Council meeting. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 VIII.
