CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION No.07-054 <br /> RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF THE DRAFT 2008 CITY OF ST. <br /> ANTHONY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE FOR SUBMISSION TO THE <br /> METROPOLITAN COUNCIL AND RE-SUBMISSION OF THE DRAFT 2008 <br /> COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN TO ADJACENT CITIES,COUNTIES,WATERSHED <br /> DISTRICTS AND SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony is required by Minnesota Statutes 473.864,Subds.1 &2 <br /> and 473.175 to complete and submit an update to its Comprehensive Land Use <br /> Plan to the Metropolitan Council every ten(10)years;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council oversaw the preparation of a draft of the City's 2008 <br /> Comprehensive Land Use Plan and directed submission of this draft document it <br /> to the City's adjacent goverrunental units,school district and watershed <br /> organizations;and <br /> WHEREAS, the review and comment period of six (6) months for the adjacent governmental <br /> units,school district and watershed organizations has expired as of July 2,2007; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 17,2008 to provide for a <br /> formal review of the draft 2008 Comprehensive Land Use Plan and forwarded a <br /> recommendation for preliminary approval to the City Council;and <br /> THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony does hereby <br /> provide Preliminary Approval of the draft of the City's 2008 Comprehensive <br /> Land Use Plan Update; and <br /> THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony does <br /> hereby submit to the Metropolitan Council and resubmit to adjacent <br /> governmental units, school district and watershed districts the Preliminary <br /> Approved draft of the City's 2008 Comprehensive Land Use Plan Update for the <br /> required 120-day review and comment period as required by the Minnesota State <br /> Statutes 473.854 and 473.858 . <br /> Adopted this 24th day of Jmly,2007. <br /> �ayor <br /> ATTEST: &k&"AM_ <br /> City Clerk <br /> t <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> 04 Manager <br />
