CITY OF ST. ANTHONY VILLAGE <br /> ( STATE OF NQNNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION 08-073 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2008 CTTY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE FOR SUBMISSION TO THE <br /> METROPOLITAN COUNCIL <br /> WHEREAS, The City of St. Anthony is required by Minnesota Statutes to <br /> complete and submit an update to its Comprehensive Land Use <br /> Plan by December 31,2008;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council selected a land use planning consultant through <br /> the Request for Proposal process in 2006 for the comprehensive <br /> land use update project;and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council appointed a 12-member task force to review and <br /> advise the City on land use planning issues that need to be <br /> addressed in the 2008 Comp Plan Update; and <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS, the planning consultant, the task force and staff prepared a draft of <br /> the 2008 update to the City's Comprehensive Plan for a 6-month <br /> review and comment period as required by the Metropolitan <br /> Council for adjacent cities, counties, watershed districts and school <br /> district; and <br /> WHEREAS, the six month comment period as prescribed by MN Statute 473.858, <br /> Subd. 2,has elapsed and the City received no comments from <br /> adjacent cities, counties, watershed districts or school districts; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has resubmitted the 2008 Comprehensive Land Use Plan <br /> Update to the City's Planning Commission for additional review at <br /> their regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting on <br /> November 18, 2008; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commissioners submitted no substantial changes, <br /> corrections or revisions to the 2008 Comprehensive Land Use Plan <br /> Update. <br />
