A small group of 9 people
attended.
Greg Bronk welcomed all those attending and introduced himself, Caitlin Goff and myself. Caitlin
circulated a sign-up sheet.
Greg Bronk introduced himself as president of Lanel Financial and said that Lanel Financial was
affiliated with Lang Nelson in the development of this project. He said that Lang-Nelson owned
approximately 1000 apartment units and another 500 assisted living units.Lang-Nelson is looking
forward to serving the growing number of Senior Citizens in Saint Anthony Village. He explained
that the property was acquired from the Saint Anthony Village that had previously purchased
several residential properties fronting on Kenzie Terrace as an urban renewal initiative. He said that
the original plan was to build approximately 38 luxury apartment units and that during the time
after their acquisition of the property in 2004. The present plan is for approximately 50 units of
assisted living units. Lang-Nelson would like to start construction by the end of this year.We
provided two presentation boards showing site, area and vicinity plans, area massing images,
building image and a building elevation study. Greg introduced me to outline the project layout.
I said that the images before the group this evening was purely schematic and could be change
during the ongoing design process. This information did generally speak to the proposed character
and image of the buildings.I went over the schematic site plan and explained that the building
would be L shaped with one leg of the L parallel to Kenzie Terrace. I explained that the building
would be 4 stories tall with the ends stepped down to 3 stories. The existing drive would be rebuilt
