Uchegbu,Pastor
C/O Mr.Tom Baker,CCIM
3464 Washington Drive, #100
Eagan,MN 55122
RE: 2824 and 2828 Anthony Lane S.
Dear Pastor Uchegbu:
Minnesota State Statutes require that any land use or zoning-related application be
approved or denied by the governing body within 60 days of receipt of the completed
application by the political subdivision. The statute also allows for the City to extend
the 60 day rule by an additional 60 days when circumstances require an extension and
that extension must be conveyed to the applicant in writing. To be in compliance with
this statute, the City is sending you this letter to advise you that consideration of your
application will require an additional 60 days to complete.
Your application was accepted by City staff on August 17, 2011,which requires the City
to render a decision on your application by October 16, 2011. Your request for a
Conditional Use Permit will be heard in Public Hearing on October 18, two days after
the 60-day rule expires. Since the Planning Commission meets only once a month, the
City is extending the 60-Day Rule so that your application will be heard at a Public
Hearing before the Planning Commission on October 18,2011 and a decision can be
made on your request at the City Council meeting on October 25, 2011.
Your presence or that of your representative is required at both of these meetings. If you
or your representative are not present at or are unable to attend the Planning
Commission meeting on the above-referenced date, the Planning Commission will
automatically table your request until their next meeting.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this process or your application, please feel
free to contact me at 612-782-3312.
Sincerely,
Kim Moore-Sykes
Assistant City Manager
Our Mission is to be a progressive and livable community, a walkable village, which is safe and secure.
