16 St. Anthony - Administration <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> §32.01 CHARACTER. <br /> The Planning Commission of the city is the planning agency within the meaning of M.S. §§ <br /> 462.351 through 462.365, as they may be amended from time to time. In that capacity, the Planning <br /> Commission will be advisory to the City Council. <br /> (1993 Code, § 305.01) <br /> §32.02 MEMBERSHIP. <br /> (A) The Commission will consist of 7 members, all of whom will be residents of the city <br /> appointed by affirmative vote of a majority of the members of the City Council. Three members were <br /> appointed for a 3-year term expiring 12-31-1985, 2 members were appointed for a 2-year term expiring <br /> 12-31-1984, and 2 members were appointed for a 1-year term expiring 12-31-1983. <br /> (B) All subsequent appointments or renewals will be for a 3-year term except where a vacancy <br /> occurs in the middle of a term, in which case the appointment will be for the duration of the unexpired <br /> term. <br /> (C) A member whose term is expiring must be notified by the City Manager 60 days in advance of <br /> expiration of the term, and the member must indicate in writing his or her desire to be reappointed to <br /> another term. <br /> (1993 Code, § 305.02) <br /> §32.03 VACANCIES. <br /> (A) Any of the following will cause the office of a Planning Commission member to become <br /> vacated: <br /> (1) Death; <br /> (2) Disability or failure to serve; <br /> (3) Removal of legal residence from the city; <br /> (4) Resignation in writing; <br />
