i City Organizations 17 (5) Failure to uphold the oath of office; and/or (6) Failure to attend 4 or more scheduled meetings of the Planning Commission in a calendar year, unless waived by the City Council after a written request from the member. (B) The city will publish an open invitation to all residents interested in serving on the Planning Commission to inform the City Manager in writing of their interest and desire to be interviewed. (1993 Code, § 305.03) § 32.04 COMPENSATION. Planning Commission members shall be compensated at $25 per meeting attended. The compensation will be effective January 1, 2005. Per Planning Commission meeting attended compensation will be retroactive to January 1, 2009. (1993 Code, § 305.04) (Am. Ord. 2009-003, passed 2-24-2009) §32.05 ORGANIZATION. The City Manager will appoint a Secretary, who may but need not be a member of the Commission. The Commission will hold 1 regular meeting every month, when necessary. At the first meeting of each year,the Commission will arrange the dates of its regular monthly meetings through the end of that year and elect a Chair and Vice Chair. (1993 Code, § 305.05) §32.06 POWERS AND DUTIES. The Planning Commission will: (A) Review and make recommendations to the City Council as to a comprehensive municipal plan, including the land use plan, a community facilities plan, a transportation plan, and recommendations for plan adoption and execution; (B) Consider and make recommendations to the City Council as to all proposed subdivisions and plats; (C) Consider and make recommendations to the City Council as to all proposed amendments to Chapters 151 and 152 of this code regarding subdivisions and zoning; (D) Consider, hold hearings, and make recommendations on conditional use permit applications; 2010 S-2
