i <br /> City Organizations 17 <br /> (5) Failure to uphold the oath of office; and/or <br /> (6) Failure to attend 4 or more scheduled meetings of the Planning Commission in a <br /> calendar year, unless waived by the City Council after a written request from the member. <br /> (B) The city will publish an open invitation to all residents interested in serving on the <br /> Planning Commission to inform the City Manager in writing of their interest and desire to be <br /> interviewed. <br /> (1993 Code, § 305.03) <br /> § 32.04 COMPENSATION. <br /> Planning Commission members shall be compensated at $25 per meeting attended. The <br /> compensation will be effective January 1, 2005. Per Planning Commission meeting attended <br /> compensation will be retroactive to January 1, 2009. <br /> (1993 Code, § 305.04) (Am. Ord. 2009-003, passed 2-24-2009) <br /> §32.05 ORGANIZATION. <br /> The City Manager will appoint a Secretary, who may but need not be a member of the <br /> Commission. The Commission will hold 1 regular meeting every month, when necessary. At the first <br /> meeting of each year,the Commission will arrange the dates of its regular monthly meetings through <br /> the end of that year and elect a Chair and Vice Chair. <br /> (1993 Code, § 305.05) <br /> §32.06 POWERS AND DUTIES. <br /> The Planning Commission will: <br /> (A) Review and make recommendations to the City Council as to a comprehensive <br /> municipal plan, including the land use plan, a community facilities plan, a transportation plan, and <br /> recommendations for plan adoption and execution; <br /> (B) Consider and make recommendations to the City Council as to all proposed subdivisions <br /> and plats; <br /> (C) Consider and make recommendations to the City Council as to all proposed amendments to <br /> Chapters 151 and 152 of this code regarding subdivisions and zoning; <br /> (D) Consider, hold hearings, and make recommendations on conditional use permit applications; <br /> 2010 S-2 <br />
