r <br /> 20 St. Anthony - Administration <br /> (0) The bylaws may be amended at any meeting of the Planning Commission by a quorum of the <br /> Commission, provided that notice of the proposed amendment is given to each member in writing at <br /> least 2 weeks prior to the meeting. In addition, any amendment to the Planning Commission bylaws <br /> must be approved by the City Council. <br /> (1993 Code, § 305.07) <br /> §32.08 CITY COUNCIL ACTION WITHOUT RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION. <br /> If a matter is required to be referred to the Planning Commission and is referred to the Planning <br /> Commission and if no recommendation is transmitted by the Planning Commission to the City Council <br /> within 60 days after referral to the Planning Commission, the City Council may take action without the <br /> recommendation. If a matter not required to be referred to the Planning Commission is referred to the <br /> Planning Commission, the City Council may at any time take action without the recommendation of <br /> the Planning Commission. <br /> (1993 Code, § 305.08) <br /> PARKS COMMISSION <br /> §32.20 PURPOSE. <br /> The City of St. Anthony does now operate and maintain public parks for the benefit and pleasure <br /> of its residents. A City Parks Commission is hereby established to advise the City Council regarding <br /> the promotion of the systematic, comprehensive, and effective development of park facilities necessary <br /> for the overall health, ability, and well-being of city residents of all ages. <br /> (1993 Code, § 306.01) <br /> §32.21 MEMBERSHIP. <br /> The Parks Commission will consist of 8 members, 5 voting and 3 nonvoting, all of whom will be <br /> residents of the City of St. Anthony. Five of the 8 will be appointed by affirmative vote of a majority <br /> of the members of the St. Anthony City Council. There will be 3 nonvoting liaison members, each <br /> appointed by their respective organizations. The 3 liaisons will be appointed by the School Board of <br /> District#282; St. Anthony Community Services; and, the Sports Boosters of St. Anthony Village. <br /> (1993 Code, § 306.02) <br />
