Housing and Redevelopment Authority Meeting Minutes <br />February 10, 1998 <br />• Page 2 <br />1 VI. ALAN CHAZIN HOMES, INC. REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT (HRA <br />2 RESOLUTION 98-001). <br />3 Motion by Thuesen, second by Cavanaugh to approve Resolution 98-001, approving <br />4. execution and delivery of redevelopment agreement with Alan Chazin Homes, Inc. <br />5 City Attorney Jerry Gilligan stated he had reviewed and did approve of the <br />6 Redevelopment Agreement. <br />7 Momson reported a payment of $30,000 TIF Funds will be made upon certificate of <br />8 occupancy of all four units. A deadline of May 1, 1999, has been imposed in the <br />9 agreement. <br />10 Motion carried unanimously. <br />11 VII. OTHER BUSINESS. <br />12 Momson reported the business located at 2917 Anthony Lane is looking into possible <br />13 expansion. <br />14 Cavanaugh asked if the City could join with Rice Creek Watershed and apply pressure to <br />Freedom Valu Center to come into compliance with the drainage issues. <br />16 Mr. Gilligan stated that there are ways that the City can apply pressure for compliance. <br />17 City Manager stated he will draft a letter asking for cooperation. He will forward that <br />18 letter to the Silver Lake Homeowners Association to pass onto the residents of Silver <br />19 Lake. <br />20 Thuesen questioned the issues at the site. <br />21 Momson explained that Freedom Valu Center stated that due to the grades and elevations <br />22 of the site it was not feasible to drain 100% to the ponds. They admit they did not contact <br />23 Rice Creek Watershed and 67% of drainage is to the ponds and 33% is to Silver Lake <br />24 Road. <br />25 VIII.
