ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />MAY 10, 2016 3 <br /> 4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br /> 8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Present: Mayor Faust Councilmembers Brever, Gray, Jenson and Stille 13 <br />Absent: None 14 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, Police Officer Brandon Hess, Police Officer Trent Studer, 15 <br />Police Chief John Ohl, Captain Dominic Cotroneo, Stacie Kvilvang, Ehlers & 16 <br />Associates, and City Engineer Todd Hubmer, 17 <br /> 18 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 19 <br />ITEMS. 20 <br /> 21 <br />I. APPROVAL OF THE MAY 10, 2016, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Brever, to approve the City 24 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of May 10, 2016. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 27 <br /> 28 <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 29 <br /> 30 <br />A. Swearing in of St. Anthony Village Police Officer Brandon Hess 31 <br /> 32 <br />Chief John Ohl introduced and gave a brief background of Brandon Hess. Mayor Faust swore in 33 <br />Brandon Hess as an officer of the St. Anthony Village Police Department. 34 <br /> 35 <br />B. Swearing in of St. Anthony Village Police Officer Trent Studer 36 <br /> 37 <br />Chief John Ohl introduced and gave a brief background of Trent Studer. Mayor Faust swore in 38 <br />Trent Studer as an officer of the St. Anthony Village Police Department. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Mayor Faust thanked the families of Brandon Hess and Trent Studer for their support. 41 <br /> 42 <br />C. Retiring Police Chief John Ohl and Captain Dominic Cotroneo Presentation 43 <br /> 44 <br />City Manager Mark Casey reviewed Chief John Ohl and Captain Dominic Cotroneo will be 45 <br />retiring from St. Anthony Police Department. 46 <br /> 47 <br />Captain Dominic Cotroneo said goodbye to the City and thanked the Council and residents for 48 <br />their support throughout the years. Councilmember Jensen stated his children remarked on what 49 <br />a nice person Captain Cotroneo was with the DARE program. Councilmember Stille thanked 50 <br />3
