Captain Cotroneo for his contributions and leadership to the City. Councilmember Gray stated 1 <br />his children also participated in the DARE program and they have great memories. He thanked 2 <br />Captain for his service. Councilmember Brever stated her children admire and respected Captain 3 <br />Cotroneo. Mayor Faust stated Chief Ohl and Captain Cotroneo were a great team. Captain 4 <br />Cotroneo’s influence on the children and residents of the City is telling of the class act he is. 5 <br />Mayor Faust thanked him for his service to the City. 6 <br /> 7 <br />City Manager Mark Casey announced Thursday, June 2 from 4-6pm there will be an open house 8 <br />for these retirements at City Hall. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Chief John Ohl stated his 33 years in law enforcement were wonderful. He thanked numerous 11 <br />people for their support including the City Council, the City Manager, the Police Officers, the 12 <br />Office Manager, Dominic Cotroneo, and his family. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mr. Dave Unmacht, Executive Director, League of Minnesota Cities provided words of best 15 <br />wishes to Captain Cotroneo and Chief Ohl. 16 <br /> 17 <br />City Manager Casey thanked Chief Ohl for his service, his professionalism and his friendship. 18 <br />Councilmember Brever thanked Chief Ohl for his service and his concern for individuals. 19 <br />Councilmember Gray congratulated Chief Ohl on his retirement. Councilmember Stille stated 20 <br />Chief Ohl has been a great Chief and a great ambassador for the community. Councilmember 21 <br />Jenson stated it has been a privilege to know Chief Ohl and see his excellent work. Mayor Faust 22 <br />stated it is difficult to use words to describe what Chief Ohl has done for the City. Chief Ohl’s 23 <br />leadership is outstanding and he has never asked anyone to do something that he has not done 24 <br />himself. Mayor Faust stated Chief Ohl deserves the time to relax and reflect and he is grateful to 25 <br />have had Chief Ohl in the City. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Mr. Dave Unmacht, League of Minnesota Cities, provided an update on the LMC activities. 28 <br /> 29 <br />III.
