CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />RESOLUTION 97 -incen <br />A RESOLUTION SETTING POLICY FOR EARLY RETIREMENT <br />INCENTIVE FOR CITY OF ST. ANTHONY EMPLOYEES <br />WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony approved an early retirement opportunity for its <br />Public Employees; and <br />WHEREAS, all Public Employees Retirement Association (P.E.R.A.) pension members <br />who are age 55 and have completed 25 years of service may retire early; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this is a voluntary act for the employee and their decision to retire early is at <br />their sole discretion; and <br />WHEREAS, this resolution is subject to change if the State Legislature modifies the <br />requirements for early retirement; and <br />WHEREAS, to qualify, financial benefit to the City of St. Anthony must be proved on a <br />case by case basis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of St. Anthony will provide post - <br />retirement Single Health Coverage for a maximum of three years for all P.E.R.A.
