1 VI. SAV II UPDATE. 2 The City Manager reviewed current and pending change orders from KKE. He also 3 reported that owners of Lot 4 will pull permits for the storm water drain. He indicated that the original plans called for 12" pipes, but with the new SAV II 5 building also on the same storm water drainage system, 15" pipes will be required. 6 He is negotiating with the owners for the City to pay for the upgrade. The City 7 Manger reported that once an agreement is negotiated, the Council will need to 8 approve the amendment to the REA. 9 VII. CERTIFICATION OF 1998 ALHOA. 10 The City Manager reported that the Met. Council has requested that the City 11 continue to participate in the Livable Communities Act program. A resolution is 12 required to affirm continuation of the City's participation. 13 VIII. OTHER BUSINESS. 14 1. Gratis Construction. The City Manager reported that retainage is being held 15 until the work is completed at City Hall. 16 2. Tennis Courts. The City Manager reported that the tennis courts will be 17 coming in higher than anticipated. He indicated that there are funds 18 available in the contingency fund to cover the overruns. The courts will be 19 completed in the Spring; the swale will be completed this Fall. 20 3. Town & Country Property. The City Manager reported that a 71 representative from Krause /Anderson called to see if the City was interested in purchasing this property. The feasibility of using the site for a retention 23 basin is being looked at. The City Manager indicated he would contact the 24 engineer for an opinion. 25 4. Fall Clean-U12. The City Manager presented Staff's report regarding the 1997 26 Spring Clean -Up. The Council decided not to have a Fall Clean -Up Day. 27 28 IX.
