1 VI. SAV II UPDATE. <br />2 The City Manager reviewed current and pending change orders from KKE. He also <br />3 reported that owners of Lot 4 will pull permits for the storm water drain. He <br />indicated that the original plans called for 12" pipes, but with the new SAV II <br />5 building also on the same storm water drainage system, 15" pipes will be required. <br />6 He is negotiating with the owners for the City to pay for the upgrade. The City <br />7 Manger reported that once an agreement is negotiated, the Council will need to <br />8 approve the amendment to the REA. <br />9 VII. CERTIFICATION OF 1998 ALHOA. <br />10 The City Manager reported that the Met. Council has requested that the City <br />11 continue to participate in the Livable Communities Act program. A resolution is <br />12 required to affirm continuation of the City's participation. <br />13 VIII. OTHER BUSINESS. <br />14 1. Gratis Construction. The City Manager reported that retainage is being held <br />15 until the work is completed at City Hall. <br />16 2. Tennis Courts. The City Manager reported that the tennis courts will be <br />17 coming in higher than anticipated. He indicated that there are funds <br />18 available in the contingency fund to cover the overruns. The courts will be <br />19 completed in the Spring; the swale will be completed this Fall. <br />20 3. Town & Country Property. The City Manager reported that a <br />71 representative from Krause /Anderson called to see if the City was interested <br />in purchasing this property. The feasibility of using the site for a retention <br />23 basin is being looked at. The City Manager indicated he would contact the <br />24 engineer for an opinion. <br />25 4. Fall Clean-U12. The City Manager presented Staff's report regarding the 1997 <br />26 Spring Clean -Up. The Council decided not to have a Fall Clean -Up Day. <br />27 <br />28 IX.
