AMENDMENT TO REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH ARNOLD <br />7 DEVELOPMENT (HRA RESOLUTION 97-008). <br />8 Morrison reported there has been a replatting and reconfiguring of Arnold Gregory's <br />9 The Arbors, from eighteen to sixteen units. As a result, the payback of the $95,000 in <br />10 tax increment financing may be made to Arnold Development from the HRA after <br />1 1 completion of thirteen townhomes rather than fourteen. This resolution will clarify <br />12 this change. <br />13 Motion by Faust, second by Marks to approve Resolution 97-008, amending Article 5, <br />14 Section 5.1(c) of the Redevelopment Agreement between the St. Anthony Housing and <br />15 Redevelopment Authority and Arnold Development, dated August 22, 1995. <br />16 Motion carried unanimously. <br />�7 VII. PURCHASE OF 2546 KENZIE TERRACE (HRA RESOLUTION 97-009) <br />8 Morrison reported that in 1995 and 1996, the City amended their redevelopment plan <br />19 to develop properties along Kenzie Terrace and Lowry Avenue. 2546 Kenzie Terrace <br />20 is currently for sale. <br />21 The City set aside $1.3 million for the purchase and demolition of the properties. This <br />22 Resolution proposes to purchase 2546 Kenzie Terrace for $62,000.00 which is the <br />23 amount appraised by Hennepin County in 1997. <br />24 Morrison noted the process of purchasing properties along this area of Kenzie Terrace <br />25 was initiated last year. To date the process has been quite successful with 4/5 of the <br />26 properties being purchased. <br />27 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve Resolution 97-009, approving the <br />28 purchase of property known as 2546 Kenzie Terrace. <br />29 Motion carried unanimously. <br />30 VIII. CHANGE ORDER RELATING TO THE DEMOLITION OF PARKVIEW. <br />31 Morrison reported the Parkview building had three fuel tanks located underneath it to <br />32 heat the building when it was initially built. Three years ago, the City contacted their <br />33 insurance carrier, the League of Minnesota Cities, to obtain insurance coverage for <br />these tanks and the tanks located at the public works site in case of leakage. Upon <br />4t demolition of the Parkview building, it has been discovered that one of the tanks is <br />36 leaking. Braun Engineering has received confirmation from the Pollution Control <br />
