ANTHONY <br />2 HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES <br />3 MAY 22, 1990 <br />4 CALL TO ORDER <br />5 Secretary/ Treasurer Marks called the Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br />6 meeting to order at 9:18 P.M. <br />7 ROLL CALL <br />8 Present: Secretary/Treasurer Marks, Commissioners Ranallo and Makowske <br />9 Absent: Vice Chair Enrooth <br />10 Staff Present: Executive Director Thomas Burt <br />11 APPROVAL OF APRIL 24, 1990 H.R.A. MINUTES <br />12 Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Makowske to approve the minutes of the <br />13 April 24, 1990, H.R.A. meeting as presented, and there were no <br />14 corrections. <br />15 <br />a6 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />CLAIMS <br />Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Makowske to approve a payment in the <br />amount of $1,558.67 to Dorsey & Whitney for services rendered from March <br />1, 1990 through March 31, 1990. <br />21 ENGINEERING STUDY - OSBORNE PROPERTIES <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />22 The Executive Director reviewed the correspondence regarding the <br />23 responses received from Kraus -Anderson Realty Companies about the <br />24 problems being experienced on the Osborne property, specifically the <br />25 Town and Country Food Store. <br />26 The City had requested a Quit Claim Deed for a portion of the Town and <br />27 Country Food Store property. This request was to provide the City a <br />28 utility easement for the vacated section of Coolidge Street. The City <br />29 is also requesting Kraus -Anderson to execute a private utility easement <br />30 for Autumn Woods Apartments which would connect to the public utility <br />31 lines for which the City is requesting a Quit Claim Deed. <br />32 Severe water problems with ponding water was experienced in the parking <br />33 lot of the Town and Country Food Store. Kraus -Anderson is requesting <br />34 the City to hire an engineering firm to determine if the existing catch <br />35 basin, which is located on the Autumn Woods property, is sufficient to <br />• 6 handle run off as the parking lot now exists. <br />
