• ,J • 1= L_, CITY OF ST. ANTHONY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES August 10, 1982 The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Letourneau at 10:26 P.M. Present for roll call: Letourneau, Secretary/Treasurer Marks, and Commissioners Enrooth and Ranallo. Absent: Sundland. Also present: David Childs, Executive Director; William Soth, Attorney; and Richard Krier, Westwood Planning and Engineering Co. The minutes for the July 27th HRA meeting were amended to indicated Mr. Soth attended the meeting. Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Commissioner Ranallo to approve as amended the minutes for the HRA meeting held July 27, 1982. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Commissioner Ranallo to adopt the policy proposed by the Planning Consultant to take tax exemption for each parcel of property as the HRA acquires it. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Commissioner Ranallo and seconded by Secretary/Treasurer Marks to direct the staff and Mr. Krier to investigate the possibilities of purchasing liability and casualty insurance to cover HRA commis- sioners, and any property the HRA might purchase, possibly as a rider on the City's policy. ' Motion carried unanimously. fiction by Commissioner Ranallo and seconded by Commissioner Enrooth to adopt the policy recommended by the Planning Consultant related to the removal or demolition of the existing property by the developer. Motion carried unanimously. fiction by Secretary/Treasurer Marks to follow.the Planning Consultant's negotiations. Motion carried unanimously. and seconded by Commissioner Ranallo recommendations for facilitating Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Commissioner Ranallo to establish an HRA negotiation team consisting of the Planning Consultant; Executive Director; and Attorney for the HRA. Motion carried unanimously.
