• <br />[1 <br />-2- <br />Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Commissioner <br />Ranallo to adopt the negotiation/competition method of land disposition. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Jones indicated he believes the Planning Commission should be <br />involved in the redevelopment process and would be willing to appoint <br />someone from the Commission to attend each HRA meeting as an observer. <br />Mr. Krier's recommendations for establishment of a marketing committee <br />will be acted upon during the next HRA meeting. <br />After a long discussion, it was agreed that the marketing efforts would <br />be targeted towards multi -family developers rather than contacting <br />only developers who specialize in housing for the elderly and "empty <br />nesters". <br />The acquisition forms submitted by Mr. Krier were accepted. <br />Motion by Councilman Ranallo.and seconded by Secretary/Treasurer <br />Marks to authorize the payment of $330 for general circulation <br />advertisements; $50 to $100 for a slide presentation and $200 for <br />the printing of flyers. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Krier distributed copies of the Environmental Assessment worksheet <br />which he indicated should be submitted to the Minnesota Environmental <br />Quality Board as quickly as possible. <br />It was agreed the.HRA should hold a short meeting following the August 29th <br />Council meeting so matters which had not been resolved during this <br />meeting could be resolved. <br />When Mr. Jones asked whether an underground stream had been found under <br />the shopping center when the borings were taken, Mr. Krier said there <br />had been no evidence of such underground waterways. <br />Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Commissioner Enrooth <br />to adjourn the meeting of the St. Anthony Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority at 11:55 P.M. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Helen Crowe, Secretary <br />
