ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 JUNE 23, 2009 <br />4 <br />5 CALL TO ORDER. <br />6 <br />7 Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />8 <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />10 <br />1 I Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />12 <br />13 ROLL CALL. <br />14 <br />15 Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Roth, Stille, and Thuesen <br />16 Absent: None <br />17 Also Present: City Manager Mike Morrison and Fire Chief John Malenick. <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />21 ITEMS. <br />22 <br />23 I. APPROVAL OF JUNE 23, 2009 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />24 <br />25 Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve the City <br />26 Council Meeting Agenda of June 23, 2009. <br />27 <br />28 Motion carried unanimously. <br />29 <br />30 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />31 <br />32 A. Presentation of CenterPoint Energy Grant for the City of St Anthony Fire Department <br />33 Jay Hibbard CenterPoint Energy presenting <br />34 <br />35 Fire Chief Malenick announced that the City has been awarded a CenterPoint Energy <br />36 Community Partnership grant. The grant will be used for the replacement of dispatch pagers <br />37 carried by firefighters. The new pagers will be more reliable and will allow them to take <br />38 advantage of new technology. <br />39 <br />40 Mr. Jay Hibbard, CenterPoint Energy, addressed the City Council and provided information <br />41 about the CenterPoint Energy Community Partnership grant. Mr. Hibbard presented Mayor Faust <br />42 and Fire Chief Malenick with the $2,000 grant. <br />43 <br />44 Mayor Faust thanked CenterPoint Energy on behalf of the City Council and citizens of St. <br />45 Anthony. <br />46 <br />47 III.
