This project will significantly enhance the usability of the park. A
motion was made and carried at the last Park Commission meeting to recommend to the City
Council that the Emerald Park Renovation Project plan be approved and submitted for bids. Jean
Garbarini will present the Council with the plans for the park. She stated the residents are very active in this community and she
has noticed heavy use at many of the parks in the community. Her impression is that the Village
of St. Anthony is sort of a small town in a larger urban area. This park will bring yet another
amenity to the residents.
Councilmember Stille inquired about the size of the proposed building. Ms. Garbarini replied the
plans are based on the footprint of the existing building.
