ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />NOVEMBER 25, 2008 <br />CALL TO ORDER. <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL. <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Councilmembers Gray, Roth, Stille, and Thuesen <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: City Manager Mike Mornson, Assistant City Manager Kim Moore - Sykes, Assistant <br />Fire Chief Don Drusch, and Todd Hubmer, WSB & Associates <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />ITEMS. <br />I. APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 25, 2008 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to approve the City <br />Council Meeting Agenda of November 25, 2008. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br />A. Fire Prevention Poster Contest Winners. <br />Mr. Drusch provided background information on the Fire Prevention Poster Contest. He stated it <br />has become very difficult to judge these fire prevention posters due to the quality of the posters <br />that have been entered in the cost. He stated his appreciation of the School District's <br />participation in the Fire Prevention Poster Contest Program. Mr. Drusch announced the first <br />through fourth place winners in the Fire Prevention Poster Contest. Mayor Faust presented each <br />contest winner with a certificate and check. <br />I1I. CONSENT AGENDA. <br />A. Consider November 12, 2008 Council meeting minutes. <br />B. Consider licenses and permits. <br />C. Consider payment of claims. <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Roth, to approve the Consent <br />Agenda items. <br />
