He indicated the results would be reported by the City Manager next <br />month. <br />Mayor Faust stated the City Manager, the St. Anthony Police Chief and he attended a productive <br />meeting with the Mayors and City Managers of Falcon Heights and Lauderdale on January 16, <br />2007. He reported Falcon Heights and Lauderdale are pleasantly satisfied with the level of <br />service they receive from the St. Anthony Police Department. Mayor Faust stated this is a classic <br />example of three separate governments working together to get more bang for the buck for the <br />citizens <br />Mayor Faust reported he attended the League of Minnesota Cities Board meeting on January 18, <br />2007. <br />Mayor Faust reported he attended the League of Minnesota Cities Public Relations Committee <br />meeting on January 22, 2007. <br />Mayor Faust reported he attended the Middle Mississippi Water Management Organization <br />(MWMO) retreat on January 23, 2007. He stated this is a good time of year to plan for the <br />future and the MWMO is a partner with the Cit of St. Anthony. <br />COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items not <br />on the regular agenda. <br />Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />Mayor Faust stated he received an email from Salo Finland asking St. Anthony to send a <br />delegation to meet with them and their sister city of Rzhev, Russia in June 2007. Mayor Faust <br />reported Councilmember Stille and Mr. Jay Hartman would represent St. Anthony. He <br />mentioned the Salo, Finland school of Moisio would visit St. Anthony High School in May 2007. <br />Mayor Faust asked for a motion to authorize Councilmember Stille and Public Works Director <br />Hartman to visit Salo, Finland on the week of June 10, 2007. <br />Motion by Councilmember Horst, seconded by Councilmember Gray to authorize <br />Councilmember Stille and Public Works Director Hartman to visit Salo, Finland the week of <br />June 10, 2007. <br />Motion carried. 4 ayes. 0 Nays,1 Abstention ( Councilmember Stille) <br />
