He stated Council could look at this reasonably <br />6 and still have grounds to call a CUP null and void. <br />8 Mayor Faust stated he looks at no outside storage in that people would park where business <br />9 parking was allowed and they are putting in high dollar items, so if Mr. Hamann agrees, it would <br />10 be wise for Council to go with this. <br />11 <br />12 City Manager Mornson replied that there have been issues with the enforcement of the no <br />13 storage language, therefore, the stronger the language the easier it is to enforce. <br />14 <br />15 Councilmember Stille stated the CUP deals with the land and because Council did not know who <br />16 the next building tenant or owner might be, he wants to ensure the wording is correct. <br />17 <br />18 Mayor Faust stated Councilmember Stille made a motion on the changes <br />19 <br />20 Motion to change the original motion Councilmember Stille, Second Councilmember Horst to <br />21 Reword item b to no outside storage; item d is changed to the use of solvents, paints, lacquers, or <br />22 strong odor producing processes are prohibited. The violation of the above conditions would be <br />23 cause for the City to deem the CUP null and void. <br />24 <br />25 Vote called on the amendment. <br />26 Motion carried unanimously. <br />27 <br />28 Vote called on the original motion. <br />29 Motion carried unanimously. <br />30 <br />31 VI. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL. <br />32 A. Resolution 07 -021; Award a Bid & Order Improvements for 2007 Water Treatment <br />33 Facilities Improvements. <br />34 <br />35 Mr. Hubmer reported on the award of a bid and order improvements for the 2007 Water <br />36 Treatment Facilities Improvements. He stated five bids were received with the lob bid of <br />37 $375,600 received from Shank Constructors, Inc. Mr. Hubmer recommended approval of this <br />38 bid. He stated the new system will replace the 17 year old system and remove the manganese in <br />39 the water. <br />40 <br />41 Councilmember Gray asked Mr. Hubmer why the bid came so far under the previous bids. <br />42 <br />43 Mr. Hubmer replied the engineer's estimate was $600,000 based on a quote received last year. <br />44 <br />45 Councilmember Thuesen asked how soon the construction would start. <br />46 <br />
