ANTHONY <br />2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />3 June 12, 2007 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />9 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />10 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />11 <br />12 ROLL CALL <br />13 Present: Mayor Faust, Council Members: Gray, Horst, and Thuesen <br />14 Absent: Councilmember Stille <br />15 Also Present: City Manager Mike Morrison, City Engineer Todd Hubmer <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />19 ITEMS <br />20 <br />21 I. APPROVAL OF THE NNE 12, 2007 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />22 <br />23 Motion by Councilmember Horst, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve the City <br />24 Council meeting agenda of June 12, 2007. <br />25 <br />26 Motion carried unanimously 410. <br />27 <br />28 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS <br />29 <br />30 A. Recognition of the Citizen's Academy Graduates. <br />31 <br />32 Police Chief Ohl invited Ms. Andrea Scamehom from the second graduating Citizen's Academy <br />33 Graduates to speak on behalf of the class. <br />34 <br />35 Ms. Scamehorn stating the class was amazing. She expressed how very eye opening it was to <br />36 see what the police officers go through and observe the skill and knowledge of the police force. <br />37 She commented the class afforded the class a great opportunity to learn, to meet other citizens, <br />38 and to get to know the St. Anthony Police Officers. <br />39 <br />40 Mayor Faust presented the certificates to the second Citizen's Academy Graduates: Roger <br />41 Braun, Dennis Dolphin, Richard Ernst, Hal Gray, Deb Hopper, Julie Jaszkowiak, Dave Johnson, <br />42 John Krakau, Bob Lerfald, Gwen Longtine, Barb Meier, Jan Nielsen, John Oja, Maggie Poor, <br />43 Andrea Scamehom, Jackie Senko, Natalie Sitarz, Seth Webster, Lisa Wert, and Wayne Wert. <br />44 <br />45 Chief Ohl stated he believes he now has 20 additional police officers in the community. He <br />46 remarked how much he appreciated citizens getting to know the police department and gaining a <br />47 realistic picture of what the police officers do. He expressed his appreciation to the class for <br />48 taking the time to attend the class. <br />49 <br />
