He explained the <br />emphasis would be on homemade local grower entrees, daily specials, and a change of menus <br />seasonally. He stated a professional photographer was hired to bring the village back into the <br />restaurant. <br />Mayor Faust expressed his appreciation to Mr. Foster and Mr. Burstad for agreeing to have a <br />public hearing. He commented this is a good opportunity for the City Council to inform the <br />community of the change in ownership and for the Village Pub to get the information out to the <br />residents. <br />Mayor Faust closed the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. <br />Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Gray to approve Resolution <br />07 -046, a Resolution Approving the Transfer of the Intoxicating Liquor License for St. Anthony <br />Restaurant Group, Inc., DBA The Village Pub, located at 2729 Highway 88. <br />Motion approved unanimously 4/0. <br />V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. <br />None. <br />VI. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL. <br />A. City Engineer's Update <br />Mr. Todd Hubmer, City Engineer /WSB & Associates, updated Council Members and the <br />audience on the 2007 Street Reconstruction Project, the Water Meter Replacement Program and <br />I &I Program, the Water Treatment Plant Improvements, the Silver Lake Road Project, and <br />County Road 88 Improvements. <br />Mayor Faust asked Mr. Hubmer to discuss the cooperation received from local businesses. <br />Mr. Hubmer replied that Berger Transfer is allowing the City to store equipment and materials <br />for the project in their storage facility. He commented that Berger Transfer is a great neighbor <br />and has helped Public Works on other projects in the past. He reported that St. Charles <br />Borromeo Church has allowed the City to stockpile materials such as asphalt to reuse to rebuild <br />the road. Mr. Hubmer stated he looks forward to continuing the partnership with local <br />businesses. <br />Mayor Faust stated it is important to recognize the businesses that help out with City Projects. <br />
