He reported that he has since found out this did not get into the plan. <br />He stated he wrote a letter to the Mayor of Minneapolis, the President of the Minneapolis Park <br />Board, Three Rivers Park District and others to voice his displeasure. He commented the reply <br />received on May 30, 2007 was not what he had hoped for; however, he will keep the pressure up <br />by building bridges rather than burning bridges. He asked for the Councils endorsement to ask <br />Staff to provide options for not supporting the NE Diagonal through the resolution passed last <br />year. Mayor Faust stated the ultimate goal is to get access to the NE Diagonal. <br />Consensus reached to direct staff to draft options. <br />Litt"I<KI]u lu Wall l &WEIT"A <br />[ ere M <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Mayor Faust reported that in the City Newspaper, a card was included advertising the Salo Park <br />Summer Entertainment Series. He stated this is a great time to participate in the activities in <br />Silver Lake Village in its entirety. <br />Momson reminded Council the next Road Reconstruction Task Force meeting would be held on <br />June 18, 2007. <br />X.
