ANTHONY <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />July 24, 2007 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Present: Mayor Faust; Council members Gray, Horst, Stille, and Thuesen. <br />Absent: None. <br />Also Present: City Manager Mike Morrison, Assistant City Manager Kim Moore - Sykes, <br />City Attorney Jay Lindgren, and Planning Commissioner Jan Jenson <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING <br />ITEMS: <br />I. APPROVAL OF THE JULY 24, 2007 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. <br />Mayor Faust added Item B, Resolution 07 -056; Approving Funding of $35,000 for Established <br />Connection from Overpass on St. Anthony Boulevard and Francis Gross Golf Course to the <br />Northeast Diagonal Trail and Grand Round, to IV. General Policy Business of the Council. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve the City <br />Council meeting agenda of July 24, 2007 as amended. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS <br />A. Proclaiming August 7, 2007, as "National Nite Out' for the City of St. Anthony. <br />Councilmember Gray read the proclamation proclaiming Tuesday, August 7, 2007, as National <br />Nite Out for the City of St. Anthony. <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen, proclaiming Tuesday, <br />August 7, 2007, as "National Nite Out' in the City of St. Anthony. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Faust commented 27 locations have signed up for National Nite Out so far. <br />
