City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />June 27, 2006 <br />Page 12 <br />On June 21, 2006, Mayor Faust attended the Silver Lake Village Clinic ribbon cutting. The clinic <br />will open an urgent care center some time in July. They are open now with a number of clients. <br />This is truly an asset to our community. The clinic is affiliated with North Memorial Hospital. <br />5 On June 26, 2006, Mayor Faust and City Manager Morrison hosted the Executive Director and <br />6 the Chief Lobbyist for the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities. Mayor Faust said it is fun <br />7 to take someone out that you only see in the Mayor's office at the capital to see all the great <br />8 things happening in St. Anthony. They went through the entire city. The former ANSI Director <br />9 kept City Council attuned to what was going on at the State legislature in 1998. At that time the <br />10 City received over $7 million in State funding for our water problems. The better we <br />11 communicate the more beneficial it is for St. Anthony. <br />12 <br />13 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />14 <br />15 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />16 <br />17 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />18 <br />19 Mayor Faust pointed out there are no issues for the next meeting in July. With the consent of the <br />20. Council, he suggests canceling the July 11, 2006 Council meeting. The Councilmembers agreed <br />21 to cancel the July 11, 2006 meeting. Mayor Faust asked City Manager Morrison to let every one <br />22 know that the July and August meetings are informal and casual attire is worn. <br />23 <br />24 X.
