He stated Staff would work this out and find out how the recycle is working <br />B. Resolution 06 -0070; Authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to execute the agreement <br />between Hennepin County and the City of St. Anthony for Road Maintenance Services. <br />City Manager Morrison stated the current contract with Hennepin County expires on December <br />31, 2006. He indicated this is for a new agreement for road maintenance with Hennepin County. <br />He reported the City actually provides services for the County and in return an increased <br />payment for the 2007 contract of $24,994, from $11, 314 in 2006. He stated with costs going up, <br />the minimum the City would receive each year would be $24,994 for 2007 through 2011 with <br />adjustments for increased costs. <br />Mayor Faust asked Mr. Mornson how long St. Anthony has had a contract with the County. <br />City Manager Mornson replied it has been at least 12 years <br />Motion by Councilmember Horst, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve Resolution 06- <br />070; a Resolution Authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to Execute the Agreement between <br />Hennepin County and the City of St. Anthony for Road Maintenance Services. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCILMEMBERS. <br />City Manager Morrison reported the meeting updates for the calendar include: <br />- Joint Meeting with the School Board on August 29, 2006 in Council Chambers <br />- City Council meeting September 8, 2006 beginning at 8:00 p.m. due to primary elections. <br />- Comprehensive Planning Meeting September 13, 2006; with a plan for an open house and <br />presentation on October 16, 2006. <br />- Comprehensive Plan Public Hearing — Planning Commission — November 2006 <br />- Public infrastructure insert into the October 15 newsletter to give an update on the Silver <br />Lake Road and Foss Road Lift Station. <br />Mayor Faust reported he continued on with the Fiscal Futures Policies meeting with League of <br />Minnesota Cities on August 9, 2006. He stated they are moving forward on some issues. Mayor <br />Faust said he would keep residents up to date as they are approved. <br />Mayor Faust reported attending the Association of Metropolitan Municipalities Revenue <br />Committee on August 15, 2006. He stated this meeting parallels that of the League of Minnesota <br />Cities except it is more focused on the metro area needs as far as what is going on in the <br />Legislature. <br />Mayor Faust reported attending a League Board Meeting on August 17, 2006. <br />
