REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF. <br />8 None. <br />10 VI. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL. <br />11 A. Consider Engineer Report Todd Hubmer, WSB forting <br />12 i. Consider Resolution 05 -083, re: 2006 street project plans and specifications and <br />13 ordering of bids. <br />14 <br />15 Mr. Hubmer reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated that this is for the <br />16 improvement by reconstruction of the roadways and utilities of 30`h Avenue NE from <br />17 Stinson Boulevard to Wilson Street; Murray Avenue; Roosevelt Street NE from St. <br />18 Anthony Boulevard to 30`h Avenue NE; Coolidge Street from St. Anthony Boulevard to <br />19 29`h Avenue NE; and the alley south of Murray from Wilson Street to Roosevelt Street. <br />20 He added due to several items increasing the new total project cost is $1,865,000. <br />21 <br />22 Mayor Faust asked if the price went up due to the alley. Mr. Hubmer replied correct. <br />Councilmember Thuesen asked if any special or unique problems are anticipated. Mr. <br />25 <br />Hubmer replied no, it appears relatively normal. He added water and sewer in the alley is <br />26 <br />difficult due to the width and the structures already there. <br />27 <br />28 <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen, to adopt <br />29 <br />Resolution 05 -083, re: 2006 street project plans and specifications and ordering of bids. <br />30 <br />31 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />32 <br />33 <br />ii. Resolution 05 -084; Foss Road lift station. <br />34 <br />Mr. Hubmer reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated that the proposed is <br />35 <br />replacing the trunk sanitary sewer from Silver Lake Road east down 39`h Avenue as well <br />36 <br />as improvements to discharge up to the City of Roseville. He added this is being done to <br />37 <br />accommodate development at Silver Lake Village. <br />38 <br />39 <br />Councilmember Stille asked if this project has enough capacity for future developments. <br />40 <br />Mr. Hubmer replied this will be looked at in the feasibility study. <br />41 <br />42 <br />Mayor Faust asked if the development is paying for the upgrade although it serves other <br />43 <br />people in the community. Mr. Hubmer replied correct, fees have been collected from the <br />44 <br />development. <br />na <br />Mr. Mornson asked what percentage the lift service serves now. Mr. Hubmer replied <br />47 <br />100 %. <br />
