City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />October 25, 2005 <br />Page 3 <br />z Motion by Councilmember Grey, seconded by Councilmember Thuesen, to adopt <br />3 Resolution 05 -084, re: Foss Road lift station. <br />4 <br />5 Motion carried unanimously. <br />6 <br />7 iii. General Updates. <br />8 Mr. Hubmer reviewed the report with the Council and indicated that the 2006 street <br />9 reconstruction project, the 39`h Avenue project, and the Shamrock holding pond have all <br />10 been completed. <br />11 <br />12 Mayor Faust requested details about the street project and how it encompasses two <br />13 seasons. Mr. Hubmer replied the first season public works will restore the area back to <br />14 the way it was prior to construction, then they will return next spring and replace any <br />15 areas that have settled, redo sod if needed, and put a second layer of asphalt on. <br />16 <br />17 B. Consider Resolution 05 -085 re: Joint powers agreement with Ramsey County. <br />18 Mayor Faust reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated that those residents on the <br />19 Ramsey County side could take items such as yard and grass clippings to the Ramsey County <br />20 site; however, those on the Hennepin County side do not have access to a close site. He added <br />21 the City of St. Anthony is entering into a pilot agreement effective November 1, 2005 through <br />22 December 31, 2005 that allows all residents of St. Anthony to drop off recycling at the Ramsey <br />County site. Information will be provided within the recycling program and in the newsletter. <br />25 Councilmember Thuesen asked if site operation information could be posted on their website. <br />26 Mayor Faust replied yes, and a phone number that residents can call. <br />27 <br />28 Councilmember Stille stated the dates are March 28 through November 30 and noted the times, <br />29 directions, and a website residents could reference for information. <br />30 <br />31 Councilmember Grey asked if there was a charge. Mayor Faust replied not for residents. <br />32 <br />33 Motion by Councilmember Thuesen, seconded by Councilmember Grey, to adopt Resolution 05- <br />34 085, re: Joint powers agreement with Ramsey County. <br />35 <br />36 Motion carried unanimously. <br />37 <br />38 C. Consider Resolution 05 -086 re: Charge for copies / police reports <br />39 Mr. Mornson reviewed the resolution with the Council and indicated that there is a change in <br />40 state law on how much the City can charge for copies and for police reports. He added if the <br />41 request is less than 100 copies the City can charge .25 cents per page and if over 100 copies the <br />42 charge is based on a fee calculation method. <br />43 <br />44 Mayor Faust asked if legal council has reviewed the issue and if it is in conformance. Mr. <br />S Morrison replied yes, it has been reviewed by legal council and spoke of at a conference. <br />
