REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />4 City Manager Morrison reported on the following: <br />5 • City Council worksession on August 15`. <br />6 • VillageFest August 5 -7. <br />7 • Night to Unite on Tuesday, August 2 "a <br />8 • August 9'h City Council meeting will include a presentation from the Freshwater society <br />9 regarding the importance of cleaning up grass clippings. <br />10 • August 23`a City Council meeting will include an update from Ramsey County Sheriff <br />11 Matt Bostrom. <br />12 • August 30 joint meeting with the School Board. <br />13 • September 13th City Council meeting will include a presentation from Ramsey County <br />14 Attorney John Choi. <br />15 <br />16 Councilmember Roth: No report. <br />17 <br />18 Councilmember Stille: No report. <br />19 <br />20 Councilmember Gray reported on his attendance at the following: <br />21 • July 12th VillageFest committee meeting. <br />22 • July 18'h Sister City meeting. <br />23 . July 215' Lions Club meeting. <br />24 <br />25 Councilmember Jenson: No report. <br />26 <br />27 Mayor Faust reported on the following: <br />28 • July 1St Ramsey Conservation District briefing. He reported the meeting was also <br />29 attended by Sen. McGuire and Rep. Hausman as well as the Conservation District's <br />30 Board members. <br />31 • July 6th MWMO executive committee meeting. <br />32 • July 12th MWMO Board meeting. <br />33 • Provided introductory remarks at the July 20'h turf maintenance seminar sponsored by the <br />34 Pollution Control Agency. <br />35 • July 20th Veteran's Memorial Committee meeting. <br />36 <br />37 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />38 <br />39 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />40 are not on the regular agenda. <br />41 <br />42 Mr. Todd Roepke, 3901 Foss Road, appeared before the City Council representing Artist's <br />43 Choice as well as the self - storage facility located at 3829 Foss Road. He wished to express <br />44 condolences to everybody that was impacted by the water during the July 16th incident. He <br />45 expressed concern that members of the Council were not willing to come into his establishment <br />
