City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />May 10, 2011 <br />Page 6 <br />1 • May 6 participation with Kiwanis in Clean-Up Day <br />2 • May 7 participation in Clean-Up Day <br />3 . May 9 Regional Council of Mayors meeting <br />4 . May 10 MWMO Board meeting. <br />6 City Manager Morrison reported on the following: <br />7 • City Council Regular Meeting on May 24 will include amendments to the ordinance <br />8 updating the City's building permit fees to coincide with new State fees <br />9 • May 31 -joint meeting with School Board at 5:15 p.m. <br />10 • April 27 labor seminar sponsored by Dorsey & Whitney <br />11 • May 2 meeting with Lauderdale to discuss options on the police contract <br />12 . May 4 -6 City Manager's conference in Brainerd <br />13 • Presented information on green initiatives currently underway as part of the GreenStep <br />14 Cities program <br />15 <br />16 City Manager Momson congratulated Public Works Director Hartman and his staff for the great <br />17 job done on Clean-Up Day, and Mike Larson, Liquor Operations Manager and his staff for a <br />18 successful Beer Tasting on May 7`h. He also expressed his appreciation to everyone involved in <br />19 working to resolve the gas leak this evening, including the Police Departments, Fire <br />20 Departments, and Public Works staff. <br />21 <br />22 VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br />23 <br />24 Mayor Faust invited residents to come forward at this time and address the Council on items that <br />25 are not on the regular agenda. <br />26 <br />27 Hearing none, Mayor Faust moved forward with the agenda. <br />28 <br />29 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br />30 <br />31 Councilmember Roth discussed the recent article about branding as a city and suggested that it <br />32 may be worthwhile to consider changing the name of St. Anthony Village from a branding <br />33 standpoint. <br />34 <br />35 X.
